Back loading means eating heavy on carbs during the night. This particular Renegade diet method does a lot of good to your body’s natural processes. Regulating your cortisol levels and all that. But the main purpose is to shed off fat without making you weak; even going as far as helping you develop muscles.

What’s Inside The Renegade Diet
Now that you have met the author, it’s time to dive into the program proper. You’ll start off with a short introduction, as most products do. This gives you a brief background on how The Renegade Diet came about. After that, the program explains certain aspects of your body chemistry. Think testosterone, estrogen, cortisol, insulin, blood acidity, and digestion. Processes and components that affect your ability to burn fat and live healthy.
Next to those initial sections comes a chapter on dietary myths. It’s your typical “dispelling common health beliefs and dietary practices” kind. This section focuses on fallacies about losing fat. Not to mention false beliefs on building muscle.
The next four chapters describe the Renegade Diet method in detail. You’ll get to understand the basic premise behind the Renegade Diet. In essence, it’s an intermittent fasting with a carbohydrates back loading component. That is, you skip breakfast. You start eating only 16 hours from the time you ate dinner the night before. You then eat light through the day, and overeat at night. There are a lot of other instructions but these are the major points. Each of these major points or phases is then discussed in detail within their own chapters.
Once that’s done, you’ll get supplementary topics to support the main method. There’s a chapter about how the mechanics of losing weight and gaining muscle work in unison. You’ll also learn how to fix your broken metabolism. If you are having a hard time losing fat, you most likely have a broken metabolism. This chapter can serve you well with that.
After that, it’s a series of topics about gaining muscles. That is, there is a chapter about modifying your diet to induce muscle gain. It also comes with training tips and a set of supplementation guides. Jason also dedicated a chapter to show how his personal diet and training routine looks like. This gives you a basic idea on how everything should go.
The last few chapters wrap everything up with a quick start guide. Then there is a quick list of the Renegade Diet rules and a quick shopping list. Finally, there includes some training considerations, and a section of questions and answers. The final chapter gives you even more information about the author.

The Renegade Diet provides a decent overview into an interesting diet method. A method with a specific purpose of losing fat and gaining muscle. It’s a good fasting diet to follow for those who work out to hasten their results. However, as a standalone product, The Renegade Diet is expensive. Especially since it doesn’t have any added bonuses. The product is not for everybody also. But if you fit the bill of a dieter who is also working out, you may want to give this product a serious look. With that in mind, it’s apt that we give this product an average 3 out of 5 stars rating.
On the plus side, Jason is famous for his creativity when it comes to his training and dieting methods. He is also known for having the ability to simplify technical stuff. That is, he keeping graphs and numbers to a minimum so that they is understandable to us common folks. In that regard, The Renegade Diet is easy to digest and follow.
On the less desirable side, Renegade Diet is a bit shallow on content. In that sense, it is best used as a supplementary product to another fitness program. Doing so can help you do some modifications on your diet. If you are an experienced fitness goer, you can fill in the missing pieces left out by this product yourself. But if you are a complete beginner, you may find yourself lost. You’ll end up with a lot of questions on what to do as you read through the program.
Another knock would be the lack of response from the support team. We are not sure if this is an isolated incident, but in our case our inquiry didn’t get a reply. That wouldn’t be an issue for great and simple products. But if you are an “on the fence” product like this one, the lack of support team means is troublesome. It means it would be hard to exercise any guarantees they are offering.
All in all, The Renegade Diet is a bit pricey for what it offers. But it’s a great supplementary program to modify your diet if you are already working out. If that sounds like you, then you might want to consider this product. If not, there are better standalone products that can serve you better.
