The Man Diet Basic Product Details
The Man Diet is a fresh take on dieting and is exclusively designed for men. It combines a modified Paleo (Caveman) diet with a Fasting component. In effect, following this diet allows you to lose the unwanted pounds while increasing your manly testosterone levels; great for guys who are working out with the aim of building muscles and losing fat.
The Man Diet was invented and created by Chad Howse. Chad is a fitness trainer by profession while also contributing articles to some of the most well-respected fitness and bodybuilding resources online. Chad also has a background in basketball and boxing; which makes him an athlete through and through. Chad may not have a lot of media hype compared to other fitness celebrities, but he more than makes up for it by being a “living proof” product of his diet system. That is, he uses the same diet regimen that he shares in this program and managed to achieve remarkable results; those are plus factors to the credibility of this program.
What’s Inside The Man Diet
The program is pretty straightforward and starts off with an introduction of how our ancestors from way back (i.e. cavemen, hunters, tribesmen) used to eat and why their diets are ideal (yes, it does sound like the same premise for the Paleo diet) for men. He also explains how modern day foods and diet practices have “emasculated” today’s men.
The next chapter then digs deeper on that point – how your current diet is ruining your masculinity. The chapter then shows scientific bases, expert anecdotes, and historical accounts on how the typical modern day diet regimen has a tendency to lower men’s testosterone levels.
The succeeding part then gives an overview of the actual “Man Diet” and explains its differences from the typical Paleo diet. This section also reveals why going full Paleo in today’s world is not really a good idea and may, in fact, be harmful.
After that overview, the program then expounds and presents the “Man Diet’s” guiding rules and principles, to which there are 5 – each elaborated inside the program. This section also gives you a crash course on macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, and fats) and their respective roles inside your body.
Once you’ve grasped the general principles, you would then reach the meal plan section where Chad teaches you how to schedule your meals and what to eat during those meals. These meals and schedules should be adopted with respect to your workout schedule.
The next section then forks into the 2 different methods of eating that Chad recommends; with each method having their own separate manuals. The methods are called “Intermittent Fasting Like a Man” and “Meal Timing Like a Man,” respectively. Chad, then, has laid out a list of criteria that would help you determine which method would work best for you.

Our The Man Diet Verdict

The Man Diet is an authentic diet program specifically designed for the modern man. It was developed based on solid scientific principles and created by a “living proof” author. On those accounts alone, this product should’ve risen into the “must have” category. However, one major flaw made the whole pillar crumble – the program lacks a lot of essentials. In that regard, we are inclined (to our dismay) to give this program an average 3 out of 5 stars rating.
As we have just mentioned, The Man Diet is a fundamentally sound diet program that is based on the Paleo diet, but modified to be more applicable to a man’s typical modern day demands. Chad strongly believes that you can’t go full Paleo since we don’t live in caves anymore and modern society is a lot more complicated compared to prehistoric times. The diet program also has a Fasting component built into it; making The Man Diet a fresh approach to men’s dieting.
However, we also mentioned that The Man Diet lacks a lot of essentials. To illustrate, working out was mentioned frequently throughout the program but the program doesn’t provide a workout plan. The product is also a strong proponent of preparing and eating healthy foods but doesn’t show recipes. Then there’s a lot of talk about buying natural produce, premium meats, organic foods, and quality supplements but the program does not supply a shopping guide. You get the idea.
The Man Diet does not cost a lot though; relative to other products in the same category, that is. So when considering buying this product, the important question is “are you someone who can figure things out on his own” or “someone who needs a lot of hand-holding?” If you can plug in the holes left by this product yourself, then this program’s fresh diet approach may be worth paying for. Otherwise, you’re better off investing in a more comprehensive program.
