Eat, Drink, and Shrink is a wonderful cookbook. It also has a nutritional guide and self-help component. It doesn’t quite stand out as a cookbook, a nutrition guide, or a self-help resource. However, the combination of those 3 related fields does produce an interesting product.
This can be a double-edged sword. The resulting product may appeal to some people who want to try out something new. Yet, it can shun those who just need a straightforward healthy cookbook.
Regardless, such a unique product deserves a fitting 4 out of 5 stars rating.
The main positive feature of this product is the amount of recipes included within it. Over 160 mouth-watering recipes and that’s a decent number for a cookbook. All these recipes are well chosen and fall under a strict health standard.
However, these recipes could’ve used more detailed procedures. Reading through them, it’s easy to misinterpret a few steps or two. Sometimes, short sentence descriptions just aren’t enough. Most complicated need more instructions and illustrations.
Here’s a wonderful thing though. The recipes do have high nutritional value and low caloric content. Therefore, it’s safe to say that these foods can help you lose weight by maintaining you on a low calorie diet.
We won’t go cavalier and say that these recipes are “fat burning” on their own. But, we can say for certain that this can help you maintain a healthy weight, at the least.
