Pros
- Great for those who have had a casual experience with working out and want to take it to the next level. If you tried many workout programs before and failed, this can get you over the hump.
- It is based on military training techniques (whether they are really as “top secret” as advertised is up for debate) and we can trust military training exercises are effective. It’s really hard to find any unfit military personnel.
- The author trained people at all levels in the military, from new recruits to veterans spanning along different fitness baselines. This product works on newbies and advanced fitness buffs alike.
- Applicable to both men and women. The author, Jeff, has trained military personnel of both genders.
- You won’t get a lot of technical fitness terms and complicated scientific concepts. You do get a lot of references to military lingo though, which is kind of entertaining.
- Fairly short workouts at 45 minute each, done 3 times a week.
- Workouts come with great illustrations and detailed explanations, making them easy to understand and follow.
- Discusses an important but often neglected component in dieting – how to get the most nutritional value from your food.
- No calorie counting.
- Desserts are part of your fitness meal plan equation so you won’t have to completely abstain from those tasty treats.
- Quick customer support response time. It took less than 24 hours for their team to respond to our inquiry.
Cons
- U.S. Military training techniques might be a bit intense or a shocker to some people.
- Military metaphors and references throughout the program (i.e. “the mission”, “the target”, “failure is not an option”) can be entertaining or annoying, depending on your perspective.
- May project a “cheap” product impression because it doesn’t have a lot of media credentials or fancy packaging like most other programs out there in the market.

Combat the Fat Basic Product Details
Combat the Fat is a high intensity training program based on “top secret” military fitness techniques and methodologies. We can question whether the methods are really “top secret” or not but we can all agree that we haven’t seen any military personnel that’s unfit, men or women. Military fitness training programs are tough, but they always deliver results.
Jeff Anderson created the Combat the Fat fitness and weight loss training program. He did not only come from the military but he is actually a former U.S. Military fitness trainer which, for the purposes of evaluating a fitness and weight loss product, holds more weight (no pun intended). He spent 10 years training military personnel of all levels, from new recruits to veterans, which establishes his proficiency in training people at all fitness levels. He may not hold as much media hype or glamour compared to other well-known fitness gurus, but he more than makes up for it in results.

What’s Inside Combat the Fat
As for the product itself, Combat the Fat tackles the weight loss triple threat – exercise, dieting, and mindset. The exercises are intense (pretty much expected), the diets are strict, and the mindset and motivation sections really get you going. You’ll get all of these with additional health tidbits scattered along the way. For example, you’ll learn how to get the most nutritional value out of the regular foods you eat simply by adjusting your food selection and preparation. You’ll also learn how to do workouts that put your sex drive into high gear.
For the exercise section, Jeff would teach you how they do it in the military (adjusted for personal and non-combat applications) coupled with detailed descriptions and illustrations. These workouts are 45 minutes in length done 3 times a week. In between these workouts you would undergo a strict diet regimen that surprisingly (and thankfully) allows desserts (not as a guilt-free day like most diet programs, but as an actual diet requirement). Everything is supported by motivational techniques and methods to help you push through the program.

Our Combat the Fat Verdict
Combat the Fat is a great and complete fitness program. Coming from a military pedigree, expect a no-nonsense type of approach. No hype, no technical jargons, no excuses, only results. We give this product an undeniable 4 out of 5 stars.
The thing that makes Combat the Fat really stands out is this – you won’t get drowned by technical terminologies. The benefit of Jeff Anderson being from a military background and not a scientist or academia one is that Jeff concentrates more on how stuff works rather than what terms to call them. Just an example, we all heard of “Resting Metabolic Rate” right? Jeff doesn’t use the term and simply describes it as “exercises that increase your fat burning capacity even when you are resting.” It may not sound like much, but for someone who likes simplicity, Jeff’s no-nonsense approach is golden.
The only knock on this product is that it may be a bit intense for some. Many people are still under the illusion that there’s an easy way to be fit and loss weight and this product is not for those people. In addition, the military characterizations may be entertaining or corny depending on your personal sentiments. Both aren’t deal breakers but they may catch your attention.
All in all, Combat the Fat is still a great product. It is real life weight loss techniques developed under practical settings and are only intended to give you results. Let’ face it, in the military being fit can spell the difference between life and death.
Our Final Recommendation: Buy Combat the Fat
